Over the years, Rising Star and GradStar participants have gone on to do amazing things. In the spirit of maximizing opportunity for the Stars and enhancing networking, the GradStar Solutions Summit draws on the experience of former GradStars and Rising Stars as they lead the Top100 GradStar students in the ultimate showdown – The GradStar Solutions Summit.
This is an event unlike any other as Alumni Captains lead teams made from the students on a business journey that includes coaching, mentorship, work readiness and team building. They will gather in the first week of December as teams prepared to battle it out to find solutions to real business challenges.

Format
- 20th of September 2024 – The GradStar Top 100 Finalists will be announced
- Alumni Captains Comprising 1 former GradStar, 1 Former Rising Star and 1 sponsor company representative will train and mentor their teams until the GradStar Solutions Summit on the 5th of December
- On the day, each team will be issued a challenge by a sponsoring company, to be presented at the end of the day to find the best solution on the day.
- The focus of the day is team cohesion and participation, not just promoting natural leaders but all those with alternative skills/interests/passions/career paths.
- Sponsor companies present will judge the event and select the Top Solutions Presented on the day.
- Sponsors can create a legacy by offering internships, mentorships, and other opportunities to stand out participants on the day”
